Benefitting The Jonny Copp Foundation
Don’t miss the premiere of the much anticipated Adventure Film Festival Fullerton created by legendary climber, photographer, storyteller Jonny Copp (1974-2009). This event showcases a diverse collection of the year’s most groundbreaking independent films, art, music, and more that inspires activism through adventure. AFF is an internationally recognized arena for the most inspiring adventure and environmental films of the year and travels the globe from Boulder to New York, Chicago, LA, Bozeman, Chile, India, Nepal, Israel, South Africa and more.
As an international community of risk takers, provocateurs, artists, dreamers, athletes, activists…every year the international Adventure Film selection committee selects the very best and most inspirational films that cover risks both mighty and absurd; tap the fringes of the unknown; and portray those experiences that bring us to the edges of our seats with our hands over our eyes or our fists in the air. Adventure Film celebrates, supports and “ties in with” those who wish to inspire and fire the creative kilns of transformation and awareness. We believe in the power of the story, the narrative of adventure and awakening. We believe we have an opportunity and responsibility to challenge and change the world we live in.

Adventure Film Festival Fullerton will benefit the Foundation that was created in the name of the Founder and Fullerton local, Jonny Copp
The catalyst for creating the Jonny Copp Foundation was the tragic loss of three extraordinary individuals, Jonny Copp, Micah Dash, and Wade Johnson. They lost their lives in an avalanche on an expedition in Tibet in 2009. The spontaneous outpouring from the around the globe created a mandate for sharing and continuing their work. The Foundation strives to keep their memory and dreams alive. They will remind us that our lives are precious and brief and that each of us has the power to realize our dreams and make a positive contribution to the world.
The Jonny Copp Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to bring creative expression and adventure to life. The JC Foundation offers grants, outreach programs, exhibits, and a forum that stimulates individual creativity, intellectual promise, respect for our environment, and the spirit of adventure.
Adventure Film Festival strives to reflect the spirit of the films, and that all starts with our partners and donors. We are committed to collaborating with conscience partners, hardworking non profits, and donors who are progressive and proactive in the local community and worldwide. Thank you for your support.
