Boulder, Colorado is the hometown of this gritty, raw film fest dedicated to the beating heart of adventure. Boulder, because of its people, is the perfect place for Adventure Film to have been born and to live. It is a true community undertaking run by adventurers,filmmakers and artists wishing to spread the creativity, enthusiasm, and activism inherent to outdoor adventure. In 08 Adventure Film became a Colorado Nonprofit and has created a partnership with the international environmental nonprofit organization Leave No Trace -- www.LNT.org. We believe in the power of the story, especially the narrative of adventure and awakening, to change and challenge the world we live in.
